In July 2020 my world was turned upside down when as a mum of 3 I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. More recently this year I also received diagnosis’s of Addisons Disease & Graves Disease.

I currently inject with an insulin pen with every single meal & take steroids am and pm.

Juggling these illnesses & 4 young kids is becoming a daily struggle.

Insulin therapy pumps are $10,000 and I’m hoping to raise half the money so I can get one this year. An insulin pump takes away the injections & will keep my blood sugar levels in range ensuring I live a healthier, longer life.
