Many of you may know Jayme through her community in Los Angeles, CA where she currently lives, or from her hometown communities of Stanfordville and Pine Plains, NY.

In early December, Jayme was in a house fire that destroyed her beloved home, which she has lived in since it was purchased. This is the home she shares with her two children, who know this as their only home. It was the place where she raised her children and stored memories of a full, happy life. Thankfully both of her children were not home at the time of the fire; however, they have lost nearly everything they own.

Jayme was hospitalized for several days following the fire. She and her children are now relying on the kindness, generosity and love of friends and family for temporary accommodations and basic necessities.

Like many house fires, the loss extends far beyond the structure itself. Everyday essentials such as clothing, toiletries, household basics, beds and linens, kitchen items, medications, etc, are gone. A lifetime of irreplaceable and sentimental items such as family photos, artwork and memorabilia are destroyed.

Funds raised will help Jayme and her children begin to replace these items in their next home from the ground up, including:

-Pantry and medicine cabinet essentials

-Clothing, shoes, and weather-appropriate outerwear

-Basic household furnishings and linens

-Home office and school equipment and supplies

-Art supplies, books, and materials connected to creative work and hobbies

-Everyday items needed to restore routine, comfort, and stability

Jayme is currently navigating her own serious medical issues, making the process of recovery and rebuilding even more challenging.

Any contribution, large or small, will help provide stability as Jayme and her children work toward rebuilding their lives. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser is another meaningful way to support them. Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and caring during this challenging time.
