Jaylyn Hudson's Mother

I have 3 loves of my own, which makes me a mother of 3. My oldest son, 21, is a recent graduate. He is now working full-time in his new career and branching out as young adults eventually do.

My middle love, Jaylyn Hudson, 19, from Central High School, really loved sports like soccer and football, but he was well known here in Oklahoma for basketball since around the age of 10. He would play ball from sun up to sun down, and of course, I was always present, attending his activities. Even on Saturdays at Hicks Gym, we three were there the whole day, playing and exercising together.

It's very difficult to write these words in English. My son was just recently brutally poked several times with sharp objects. I should be the one enduring his pain because I'm impacted every day since the incident.

He didn't deserve this. He had a love for competition, grace, and was funny like a comedian. He was sprouting in his last year of graduation. I shared my job, money, savings, and my car with him. Soon, I was planning to give him my Mazda or buy him one. I raised my kids to be decent, productive, active, humble, with morals, and to cherish life, family, and friends.

My son was murdered and I'm behind financially. I'm currently involved in grief counseling and prayer. Some days I wake up and emotionally pour out for 12 hours. I really would like to pay and help two great people in my life for taking off work, and cover fees for my son's transportation back home and so much more. I'm planning a balloon release with family, close friends, a memorial, food, pictures, love, time, and respect for my son. Memories and a camera photo album just for Jaylyn Hudson. He has a 14-month-old handsome, walking, talking baby. I can't believe it, but I'm grateful for him, my grandson. At 14 months, he has no father, but I'm really, really a grandmother. Yes, excited! I buy gifts every 2 weeks and promise to have him by my side till I need to be buried. Clothing, milk, toys, love. Appreciated dearly. Grateful. Prideful as a mature adult, at first, I couldn't do this. The help from some people, couples, would mean the world to me. People ask every day when are you?
