Jaylene’s Cancer Journey
Donation protected
Since 2021, I underwent radiotherapy and 3 different chemotherapy which was ineffective. I was also unable to work regularly due to my physical struggles. And due to my inability to work regularly, my medical bills were multiplying faster than I could pay off. That year, I became extremely depressed and inconsistent with my treatment. I was then diagnosed with Stage III cancer.
This summer 2023, I went through a major month long treatment that worked to get rid of most of my cancer cells. Due to the procedure, I suffered both short and long-term memory loss. Since then, I have been on an uphill recovery and continue to receive my cancer treatment regularly.
Update:
This winter, I made a tough choice to skip some of my important treatments, putting my occupation and income as my priority. This past two weeks, my counts have been dropping significantly. New medications did not help and I’m so scared that I’ll need to battle alone in a hospital room once again. As days go by, I find myself facing more emotional, physical, and financial challenges.
This page was created to help relieve some of my financial burden in order to focus on my other challenges. My ultimate goal is for a complete remission and to raise money towards covering my past, current, and future treatments. I will do all I can to recover as soon as possible as there’s still so much I want to learn, so much to do, and so much people to help. If you are unable to donate, please consider showing your support by sharing this link with others.
I greatly appreciate all your prayers and supports. Without you, I wouldn’t be able to find the encouragement to keep fighting.
Thanks so much from the bottom of my heart, Jaylene
