On 5/11/23, our precious Jaylani Londyn Romero arrived (my granddaughter). Mom, Jamarie, suffered a placenta abruption. Upon arriving to the hospital, they immediately determined a C-section was in order to save mom and baby. To our dismay, Jaylani was born without a heartbeat, the medical team had to resuscitate her to bring her back to us. They estimated she had little to no oxygen for almost 15 minutes. Now 4 days old, she is fighting for her life in NICU. She is suffering from ongoing seizures along with other elements. The EEG has determined she has suffered significant brain trauma (damage) due to loss of oxygen and the delivery process. Further testing will determine the extent of the trauma. The family is suffering emotionally, mentally, and financially. Dad, Nico, is the sole provider of the home. He works in the food industry and currently is not provided paid time off or benefits. This situation has caused financial hardship for the family. We are asking for help; no amount is too small. Nico and Jamarie need to be there for their daughter, kids, and each other. Requesting all prayer warriors to go to work, we need you! Jaylani needs you!


This will also help our baby girl with medical bill and any extra testing we are having done to bring her home to us.
