Jaylah’s Journey

Hello everyone. As most of you may know, the Shanholtz clan is extremely close. We call ourselves the FabFive. When one of us is knocked down, the other four come running to the defense, to pick the other back up. We are setting up this account because one of us has been knocked down. Our sister Erin and our niece Jaylah recently found out that Jaylah has been diagnosed with stage 4 Hodgkin Lymphoma. She will be receiving treatment in Morgantown starting next week. We are not sure how long treatments will last. What we do know is that it’s going to be a lot of running back and forth to Morgantown and a lot of hospital stays. And a lot of time off work. Our sister Erin is an extremely hardworking single mother who always puts her children first. She works long hours to make sure the bills are paid and her children are provided for. She doesn’t like to ask for help. She would probably yell at us for setting this up, but that’s what we do! We band together and help our sister. Our Jaylah is strong. She is a free spirited fighter who is going to beat this! We just want to make sure Erin can focus on Jaylah and Jonah and not have to stress and worry about how she is going to get through this financially. Asking for help is always hard. Asking for financial help is even harder. If possible let’s help Erin and the kids through this extremely difficult time. Most importantly let’s keep praying for positive thoughts, healing, understanding and miracles. God is good and will ultimately provide for this family in ways we can’t see, but even God has angels to help him. Let’s be those angels for Erin and Jaylah.
