Jayla is a 10-year-old MMA fighter from Albuquerque, New Mexico, with a passion for pushing her limits and inspiring others. Training at Jackson Wink Academy and The War Room of Jiu Jitsu, she’s already achieved over 175 match wins—more than 150 by submission. Now, Jayla is on a mission to reach 200 submissions by the end of the year, a goal that means traveling to tournaments across the country and facing some of the best young competitors in the nation.

This journey isn’t just about numbers. For Jayla, every match is a chance to grow, learn, and challenge herself in new ways. She’s determined to become the best she can be, and that means seeking out tough competition far beyond her hometown. Along the way, she’s excited to explore new places, meet new people, and gain experiences that will shape her both on and off the mat.
