Mollie Haspert, here. My former student Jayla needs your help. I taught Jayla in summer school in 2018. I met a young woman who had been through so much in her life; much more than she was telling me at first. In time, I've learned some very sad things about her life. And the stories keep coming.

Through the years we formed a very special bond. I've watched Jayla graduate from high school with Honors, watched her make her way to the U of Tampa and earn a 4-year degree in Public Health. She has overcome incredible obstacles. I'm so PROUD of her.

But her own physical and mental health have suffered through the years, too. Jayla needs dental care, as her teeth have been neglected for decades. She needs intense therapy, and after, continued counseling, to work though some paralyzing childhood trauma.

This is all very expensive and her insurance covers very little. I know I've asked so many people to help Jayla in the past. And here I am again. I've said countless times that she is so deserving. So grateful. So humble. And she WILL pay it forward.

Any help you can give is more than she has currently. Thanks is inadequate, but you have mine. Again and again and again.
