We’re looking to raise some money for sweet little Jayla May Gosling, and her family.

Jayla is a vibrant 3 year old who lives with her mommy( Charity) Daddy(Jason) an older brother(Tyler) and 2 Sisters(Brooklyn and Hailey) just before Halloween, sweet little Jayla started vomiting. After 5 weeks her parents finally had enough, she wasn’t getting better. So last week sweet Jayla’s parents brought her to Stollery Children’s Hospital in Edmonton.

Within hours the Dr’s identified a 6cm lump in the back of Jayla’s head. That’s when every parents worst nightmare happened.
Jason and Charity were told that it is a fast growing tumour, likely only a couple months along. The lump was putting pressure on the area of the brain that causes motion sickness/nausea.

Her parents are still in shock as they went to the hospital for vomiting and extreme constipation and she ended up having emergency brain surgery. Within a couple hours Dr’s put a tube in Jayla’s head to drain the fluid off her brain. They quickly got a team together. They were able to successfully remove all of the tumour yesterday ( Dec 13th, 2022)

It has been confirmed the tumour was cancer so they will be starting a chemo journey after her brain heals. Then possibly another surgery if her brain can’t drain the fluid naturally once the tube comes out.

Jayla and her family have a long road ahead! After chemo and another possible surgery Jayla will have scans every 3 months.
The Dr’s said “after 5 years we can breathe and after 10 years of clean scans we can relax”

With Charity at the hospital and 3 other kids at home. Jason will be back and forth and helping out with household normalcy for the older 3 kids. Typically Jason works 5 hours out of town, and the Stollery Children’s Hospital is an hour from the family home in Camrose. So he will need to take a minimum of a few months off to be present in this difficult time.

Please help sweet Jayla May Gosling and her family.
