Jaye and her family need our help

Hi, my name is Kristen and I’m fundraising for my dear friend Jaye Kotze-Ross and her battle with triple negative breast cancer.

Cancer sucks! It has affected us all at one point in our lives or another. But it has hit very close to home for me and my dearest friend Jaye. No one wants the phone call….. “I have something to tell you. I have breast cancer”. When she told me, it took the wind right out of me. I tried to stay strong as I listened to everything she had to tell me about her diagnosis and upcoming treatments, but this is my girl!!!! We cried, we got angry, we got sad. She shouldn’t have to go through this. Her family and friends shouldn’t have to go through this. But here we are. Not only did she get this news, but it was on the heals of her also losing her job since COVID hit. She was just starting to get back on her feet in the work place then BAM- cancer. She’s fighting and kicking triple negative breast cancer’s ass in true “Jaye form”…with utter grace and positivity- but at the end of the day, cancer SUCKS! She has been through chemo, surgery and radiation- all in less than a year. This has taken a lot out of her both physically, emotionally- and sadly, financially. She hasn’t been able to work while she fights this horrific disease and therefore her family is struggling with their day to day bills. This is where “her village” needs to step in. We need to rally to help her and her family stay afloat as she continues to heal until she can get back on her feet again and get back to work.
