Jaydyn – The Deaf Horse Whisperer and Savior
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Danielle and I am fundraising for Jaydyn - PLEASE help Jaydyn from having to Sell her Heart Horse along with her other beloved Horse’s and bring them HOME!
Her Story from her family:
Jaydyn was born with no hearing at all. When she was a year old she had the cochlear implant surgery on one ear. We noticed at a very early age she has an amazing gift with horses. She would constantly sneak out into the pasture and ride our old blind Appaloosa who had taught her how to ride. At age 8 she was given a semi feral donkey we named “Stubbs”. She rode that little guy everywhere. From there it went into saving horses that were abused or deemed “untrainable”. We took them in and Jaydyn was on their backs within a week.

Jaydyn and her Heart Horse Chuck:
They have been together a long time. He was rescued as a yearling from being starved. He was up for adoption for 6 years because he is only 14 hands and doesn’t like strangers. The first time these two met they instantly hit it off and we adopted him for $300. They have been in speed events, rodeo pageants and a cowgirl clothing magazine together. He took her to state and was in the top 10 horse in the state of Georgia in the 13-19 group. He beat a lot of high dollar horses in competition, and he is just a tiny rescue. He ran his retirement run at state and has enjoyed occasional rides here and there. He even jumped in the ditch once and saved them both from a drunk driver she didn’t hear coming on our dirt road. SHE CANNOT LOSE HER HEART HORSE AND HE CANNOT LOSE HER!
Jaydyn Saved 2 Wild Mustangs:
Jaydyn has always been fascinated with Mustangs. She has always been called the “feral child”. It seemed fitting to attend an online auction to try and rescue one. We won her little black Onaqui Mountain, Utah Mustang who we named Ashwin which means “horse trainer” and “strong horse” in Indian. When picking up Ashwin in Florida we fell head over heels over a tiny little Sorrel from Shawave Mountain, Nevada. We adopted him as well and loaded them up in the trailer. They bonded on the trailer ride home. When we got home they didn’t want to be separated so Jaydyn trained them in the same pen at the same time. They used to be right outside her window and would stick their heads in to hang out and watch TV with her. They are now completely tame, used to humas and being ridden.

We need your HELP:
Fast forward to a year later and we have fallen on hard times. We had paid somebody to clear our land and it didn’t get done. We have lived in our house for 10 years and it took us that long to finally be able to start our dream of clearing land, set up a training area for Jaydyn and possibly an arena. But, as fate would have it, the gentleman clearing our land fell on hard times as well and can’t get it done for us. We lost that money we had saved for so long. Then we had roof problems and sadly Jaydyn had to sell her beloved horse Jada. Vet bills have increased, and the freight business has been really slow for truck drivers right now, which is how Jaydyn’s dad supports our family.
So almost three years later our horses are still in our neighbor’s pasture waiting to come back home and it is killing Jaydyn not being able to train the way she wants to and save more horses.
If we cannot raise the money needed to make our property livable for Jaydyn’s beloved horses, we will have no choice but to sell them. No girl should have to go through that heartbreak. No horse should have to go through that heartbreak.
