On October 6, 2016 we were hit hard with the news that our oldest daughter Jayden once again has an ependymoma brain tumor. She first had one back in September 2010 but fought and won her fight against cancer through surgery, radiation and chemo. The fight is back on as we are gearing up for months of treatment starting with brain tumor resection, then intensive focal radiation to the tumor site (growing upward from the brain stem ) and then followed up with chemo. Treatment is going to be very difficult on Jayden and also financially straining on our family due to commuting for numerous appointments, hospital stays, radiation and chemo treatments, labs, lodging and eating on the road, not to mention lost wages from taking time off from work to accompany Jayden and also to care for her three siblings.
Jayden is a bright little girl who loves Jesus and she will God willing, win this fight against cancer. Her cancer treatments stole her mobility and independence last time but it will not steal her life!
Please keep Jayden and our family in your prayers and if you are financially able please donate.
