Jayden's Brain Surgery:Help Make His Summer Memories

Hello, I’m Jasmine. I’m Jayden’s mother. I’m making this fundraiser with a heavy heart, asking for community support to help my son Jayden, who recently turned 11 years old, enjoy part of his summer before having his brain operation in June.

It’s been a rough couple of months for my family, and finding out my son had a brain tumor and needed surgery has been very stressful, terrifying, and has changed my everyday routine. My son was suffering from severe headaches and vision loss almost completely in one eye. A trip to the eye doctor led to having emergency CAT scans, MRIs, and seeing specialists and neurologists, to finally getting the gut-wrenching diagnosis that he has a large growth on his brain.

I have missed a lot of work due to countless doctor’s appointments, debilitating anxiety, and having to check my son out of school so many times due to severe headaches. The most amazing part is that through his struggles medically, Jayden has still managed to maintain As and Bs and gets nothing but positive feedback from his teachers and principals on how he’s such an amazing kid and student.

Now, someone has recently hit and totaled my vehicle, and I’m currently having to fight the insurance company on top of everything. I hate to be vulnerable and ask for help, but when it comes to my kids, I will put all my pride aside and do whatever it takes. Thank you sincerely from the bottom of my heart.
