Jayden's Cancer Journey

Jayden was diagnosed with a rare type of blood cancer on May 20, 2020. Myeloid Sarcoma was his diagnosis which is a manifestation of acute myeloid leukemia. We are blessed that the cancer did not spread yet and is not in his bone marrow where myeloid cells are created.  It is localized to just the orbit of his eye for now. He has been going through very extensive chemo and it has only been the first month. We were released from the hospital today after being three a total of 32 days. My husband and I have 3 other children besides Jayden so right now we are not working whilst going through this. He has more surgeries and hospital stays as well as more intensive chemo to come. Anything will help and will go to medicines and supplies that aren't covered by insurance and any needs for Jayden as well as bills that might pile up on this long road ahead of us.
