Jayden Villanueva (Jackeline Obregon)

Jackeline Obregon’s life was forever changed when the Lord called for her son, Jayden, on March 19, 2024. Jayden was a 15 year old student at Bishop Manogue High School. Jayden was easy going, knew how to make people laugh, and according to his friends, he was a great listener. He enjoyed building Legos, laughing with his friends and playing sports. Jayden was diagnosed with an aggressive form of Leukemia on December 6th, 2023, and by February the cancer had spread to his spine. He succumbed to his illness on Tuesday, March 19, 2024.

The Lord called for Jayden too soon, although we must trust in him and his timing. This is an unimaginable experience for a parent and all of us are without words to relieve Jackie’s pain. What we CAN do is relieve some of the expenses that go with burying a child. All donations made will pay for the memorial and burial costs. If there is any money left it will relieve his family of any outstanding medical bills and the incurred costs of traveling to and from medical appointments.

Services will be held Saturday, April 6th, 2024. A mass will be held at St. Teresa of Avila Church at 10:00 AM. Jayden’s funeral will follow at Walton’s Garden, where he will be laid to rest in peace with his Dad, who passed of cancer when Jayden was 7 years old. The two were very close and they will be reunited in love and will rest easy together.
