Hi, my name is Rashan Ellis, the father of Jayden Ellis, whom I’m started this fundraiser for to help with the cost of all his essential medical needs and transportation to doctors appointments. Jayden is 13 now but when I found out his Diagnosis ( Craniopharyngioma) he had just turned 12 in 2021. Jayden started experiencing the lost of his vision which alerted me to take him immediately to the eye doctor and then I was notified he needed to see an eye specialist all in the same day. After seeing the specialist that’s when I was told he needs to be rushed to the emergency room. On September 27, 2021 I found out my son had a large tumor on his brain which compromised is pituitary gland. It’s been a journey so far multiple surgeries 7 to be exact many therapy sessions Jayden went blind twice and he has permanent devices on his brain one being a shunt. Jayden mobility is up and down one minute he can walk eat do things on his on and the next minute he cannot do anything. We are constantly going to multiple doctors using medical transportation which they don’t show up at times. As his only parent and caregiver it’s not easy for us but I push no matter what the obstacle come up against. Jayden and I have to travel back and forth to Philadelphia to the childrens hospital where he will be getting treatment and possibly one more surgery. So I’m starting this fundraiser in hopes to get help for our traveling expenses medical expenses things Jayden need on an everyday basis.
