HOPE FOR Jayden Muzondo to get a heart procedure

Help us to save a child, Jayden Muzondo, from a debilitating natural heart disorder. Jayden was diagnosed with an acute form of Wolff Parkinson White Syndrome (WPW) in 2023. The prescribed permanent solution to the condition is specialist cardio-surgery to correct this condition.

An amount of US$13200 is sought for Jayden to be sent to India for life-saving heart surgery from Zimbabwe. There are no facilities for such operations in Zimbabwe. Jayden is currently on medication, a temporary way of controlling the symptoms.

Working with Jayden’s doctors, some quotations were sought from different hospitals around the globe. The renowned lowest-priced hospitals are in India with Jupiter Hospital, Mumbai appearing to be the most favourable.

The total cost includes the hospital charges, the return flight charges from Harare, Zimbabwe to Mumbai, India for Jayden and guardian (grandmother), bookings, sustenance for 20 days and, transport costs between airport-hotel-hospital (assumptions were informed from a best-case scenario of planned procedures).

9-year-old Jayden is under the care of his grandparents in Tsanzaguru, Rusape, Zimbabwe. Jayden attends Tsanzaguru Primary School, where he is good in both in academic and sporting activities (he’s now grounded because of this condition coming to light). Jayden’s grand parents cannot afford the huge medical bills. Jayden lost his mother in 2020, also to a heart condition. Jayden’s father is a qualified teacher but is unemployed. The family is seeking for financial donations of any size to save a charming boy’s life.
