Jay Dalit Memorial Fund

By now, most of you have heard about our heartbreaking loss of Jonathan (Jay) Dalit at 32 years old (January 3, 1989-January 5, 2021). He was the best brother any of us could have ever dreamed of and I am his sister, Mary, writing this on behalf of his family,  Angella, Mia, & Layla. We are deeply humbled by the many requests asking if they can send monetary support to his wife and daughters so we have created this fund.

Jay was genuinely GOOD, kind, loving, and fun. He was a shining light in every room he entered, full of laughter and jokes, and always made everyone around him smile and laugh till it hurt. He was truly a wonderful son to his parents, Tony & Tessie, a best friend to me and his 2 other siblings, Chris & Ron, and an amazing HUSBAND & FATHER.

Jay was so devoted to his wife, Angella, that he has been with since they were both 16 years old, and his two daughters, 4-year-old Mia & 9-month-old Layla. The past year was difficult for them as Layla entered the world 3 months early, however she was strong just like her daddy always was and persevered. He was the best daddy to his two girls that he absolutely adored and loved so much in that he tried to give them the world.

Jay worked very hard for his number 1 priority: His wife and children. He had a long career at Lexus of Henderson and know that he was very beloved there as well. He was always prepared and had set his family up well. He had so many dreams and plans for the future, it was so exciting to listen to all of them. Jay was a guiding light for everyone around him. His friends are also feeling the loss of his positive spirit. And we all know of his love for the Raiders.

He was supposed to outlive us because we could never imagine our lives without him in it and this is an unbearable loss for his entire family as he was the glue that kept us truly together.

We would appreciate anything that is given, but please know that there is no obligation. We are grateful for everyone’s support.

Thank you very much in advance - I know that in similar times of need Jay would be there...always. Jay would be very grateful for all the support shown for his wife, Angella, and daughters Mia Anela & Layla Rose...they are his LEGACY. He left us too soon...
