14 year old Jayda Fulp will be a member of Team USA traveling to Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina in 3 weeks to compete in the Cadet World Championships. Jayda and her family found out she made the team 8 days ago after she received a wildcard from USA Judo. This will be a completely self funded trip with the biggest expenses being airfare to Europe and extremely expensive fixed Hotel and meal costs.

Jayda is currently preparing for the event in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida where she has been training and competing for the last 2 weeks. She won the U21 Division at the USJF/USJA Summer Nationals and was named Most Outstanding Competitor, she then completed a training camp before winning a Silver medal in the U18 Division and a Gold medal in the Senior Black Belt Division at the US Open Championships. She is currently in the middle of the Cadet and Junior World Team training camp.
