Jaycee Chandler had a very scary crash last Saturday on March 19th in American falls while riding dirt bikes with his friends at the lake channel sand dunes. He broke several vertebrae in his back and neck, suffered a partially collapsed lung, and had some internal bleeding close to his spine. His doctors have said that this type of accident normally produces a paraplegic and that he’s extremely lucky to have full mobility and an extremely promising prognosis moving forward. His friends and family are beyond grateful that he has successfully made it through surgery and has been has been improving juristically daily. He is is currently starting Physical therapy at Mountain View Hospital in Idaho falls with the help of his Fiancé Jasmin and His parents Nicole and Phil. He has high spirits and plans on working hard every day to get back to his former glory.

As most of us know, hospital visits like these can become very expensive very quickly even with good insurance coverage. Even when Jaycee gets to go home from the hospital, he won’t be able to return to work immediately and he’ll have ongoing expenses to pay for medication, continued physical therapy, and for necessary medical equipment and braces to ensure that he makes a complete recovery.

Jaycee himself would never ask for any sort of financial assistance due to his selfless attitude and impeccable work ethic. His friends and family are putting this fundraiser together for Jaycee so the he has one less big thing to burden his thoughts during his lengthy recovery. When bad things happen to good people, the rest of us are presented with a rare opportunity to make an enormous difference in someone’s life.
