As some of you may or may not know Jayce has been struggling with MS ( Multiple Sclerosis) since August of 2015. MS is a progressive degenerative neurological disease with no real cure. Doctor’s don’t know much about it to be honest, and although there are some medications on the market none have really worked for her. She has looked into all of the mainstream treatments available and many are more terrifying than the disease itself. She’s tried it all, acupuncture, specialty diets, endless supplements, TCM ( traditional Chinese medicine), CBD, and even a crazy African tree bark juice (I still can’t believe she drank that) although none of these have had any long term positive effects.
However, being the stubborn don’t take no for an answer kind of woman she is, she continues to research alternative options. She had read about stem cell treatment being used successfully to treat MS, but it was only available outside the US and involved a lengthy stay away from home and was extremely expensive.
Her friend in the Berkshire also suffering with MS recently told her about a place in Chicago that was specializing in Stem cell treatment for neurological disorders and she herself had been and had absolutely life changing results. This opportunity through TruStem involves a short stay in Chicago followed by the commitment to 20 to 40 sessions in a hyperbaric oxygen chamber back in MA.
For the past seven years she has been trying all this on her own while working full time and raising her boys and keeping up with the endless costs of many of these treatment options. We as her friends would like her to be able to explore this option as a gift from those that love her without the financial burden it would place on her family. We wish her the best on this amazing opportunity for a better quality of life.
