Jayauna's Heart Transplant

Jayauna is a 14yr old who has been battling heart disease all of her life. She was born with "Hypoplastic left heart syndrome" and had undergone 3 open heart surgeries by the age of 2. Despite the many complications Jayauna is very loving and out going and has a personality that is out of this world. If you know her you love her! She has had heart failure and was placed on the list to have a heart transplant in October. She has been waiting at CNMC for 3 months. Jayauna just recently had a heart transplant in January and is still having some complications as she recovers from this major surgery.

Jayauna’s mom has dedicated her life to her daughter. She has exhausted all of her leave as she continues to care for her daughter. The family is grateful and extremely appreciative of any assistance that is provided. Thank you in advance.
