Honoring Jayrus: Repatriation and Final Farewell

Hi, my name is Julieth, and I’m writing this with a broken heart.

On July 30, 2025, my husband, Jayrus James Jacinto, passed away suddenly from a stroke here in Canada. He was only 43 years old. Losing him so unexpectedly has been devastating—for me, for our family, and for everyone who knew and loved him.

Jayrus was the kind of person who lit up every room he walked into. He was generous, thoughtful, and full of life. He always put others first, and he had a way of making people feel seen and cared for. He loved the Philippines deeply—it was his home, his heart—and he always dreamed of returning one day.

I’m doing everything I can to honor that dream. I want to bring Jayrus home to the Philippines, so he can be laid to rest surrounded by the people and the place he loved most. But the costs are more than I can manage alone.

We’re hoping to raise $20,000 CAD to help cover:

✈️ The cost of transporting Jayrus’s remains back to the Philippines

⚰️ Funeral and burial expenses

Legal paperwork and documentation

Memorial services with his family and friends back home

If you’re able to donate, even just a little, it would mean the world to us. And if you can’t give right now, sharing this page would be a huge help too.

Thank you for reading, for caring, and for standing with us during this incredibly painful time. Jayrus was loved by so many, and with your help, we can give him the farewell he truly deserves.

With love and gratitude, Julieth and Family
