Jay Warriors

Our good friend Jay Hutchison was diagnosed with a brain tumor on 12/30/2017.  On January 4th of this year he underwent brain surgery to remove the tumor. They were able to remove about 90% of the tumor. The  evaluation of the tumor, however, is that it is most likely a Glioblastoma. This is an especially aggressive, malignant type of brain tumor. 
With the steadfast and loving help of his fiance Linda Huckaby Lentz and the love and support of all his friends "Jay Warriors" are following Linda's lovely drafted posts that have drawn us all into the challenges and triumphs they are facing daily. 
Jay is an amazing man and doing well so far.  He is beating the odds after multiple rounds of chemo therapy, optune treatment, endless doctor visits, MRI testing, prescription medication and dealing with nasty side effects both physical and emotional. Jay has good days and some not so good days. Every good day he makes it a point to spend time with his friends and family- we are the lucky ones. One thing that is constant is his courage, will and determination to beat this! The treatment is not cheap and everyone knows the limits and restrictions of today's insurance industry. Jay and Linda are also hoping to look into more cutting edge holistic natural treatments not recognized by insurance . Unfortunately this has created an immense financial chasm for Jay and Linda.  A brutal side effect known to most all cancer patients. We hope that his "Jay Warriors" can help ease this burden. The money from this campaign will go to Jay and Linda's mounting medical expenses and all other associated costs going forward in Jay's battle to kick some cancer ass.
