Jay Thomas was recently sent to the hospital on 12/07/20 due to a combination of COVID-19 accommodated with diabetes and hypotension that sent him into the ICU where he was induced into a coma and placed on a ventilator. He was finally released after 22 days. He is currently at home and unable to work due to his toes losing blood circulation which will result in them being amputated in the near future. In addition, to all this, Jay did not currently have insurance at his time of admission in to the hospital. Money raised will go toward pre insurance bills including: Ambulance, medical, medication, handicap housing until he is able to be placed on temporary disablity and/or return to work.
