Jay has been battling back pain for quite some time now and went in to the Whitefish ER on Friday, March 29. They did a CT scan to find a tumor degrading the vertebrae and pinching his spinal cord which destabilized the structure of his spine. They life flighted him out to Billings for an emergency surgery. This 16 hour surgery was intense but successful in removing the tumor from the spinal cord area and stabilizing the vertebrae.

During this, the scans have shown Jay has cancer in his spine, pelvis, kidneys, lungs and ribs.

Things have happened at a rapid pace and it is still unclear the direction that will be taken.

This is an absolutely earth shaking diagnosis but for those of us who know Jay, know he is a fighter. As this journey down a very long road begins, we would love to make sure he does not have any financial worries.
