Hey everyone, just a couple of hour ago I lost the love of my life Jay to COVID.
It all began a week and a half ago. My mother took him to urgent care because he could not breathe. They sent him to Kendall regional because he had a blood clot in his lungs . While he was there they tested him for COVID and he came out positive. They did surgery on him and he had come out fine he seemed like he was doing well and about to come home until last night he began feeling as if he could not breath.
Me and my daughter spoke to him(about an hour before everything happened) to bring up his spirits since he was already down in the dumps from being in the hospital all alone and Missi g his family.
The hospital called us to be on our way. Which we know is never a good sign. By the time we arrived he was pronounced dead. I broke down, I felt as if my heart was ripped into a million pieces. I held my daughter and had to give her probably the worst news a little girl can ever hear that her dad had passed. Let’s just say she did not take it well (I did not expect anything less).
He was only 35 years old. I know he wasn’t perfect but he was perfect with all his flaws to me and to his daughter. I know he is up in heaven looking down on us telling us to never forget him and that he loved us just as much as we loved him. He left behind a daughter and a wife. A mother, brothers, father and step father, and many other family members.
I am not one to ask for money but this was all taken by surprise. I am still in shock not even thinking what I am writing is real. If you could please donate anything to help with the funeral and burial arrangements and little bit will help.I truly appreciate you even if you can’t donate just taking the time to read this and to pass it on to anyone else.
Hug your loved one tonight and every night because you never know when it will be your last.
Gordo I love you! I always will!
Yours truly,
Helen and Mia Santana
