Jay Myers Memorial Fund

Hello,

My name is Cheri Matos and I am starting this fund to support my sister Lisa and her 3 year old twin sons Wrigley & Fenway.

On Saturday morning (8/14/21) Lisa, Wrigley & Fenway suddenly lost their amazing, caring, providing & loving husband and daddy, Jason Myers, known by many as Jay Myers. He passed peacefully in his sleep at the young age of 48.

Lisa and Jay had been married for 7 years and were building a beautiful life together; they had their twin boys, who were Jays pride and joy, and they recently purchased their dream home in Southern California. Jay was a veteran who served his country for 12 years as a Navy SEAL and upon his exit from the military he was an executive business man who provided for his family. Lisa is a stay at home mom who’s job it was/is to raise & care for the boys and to make sure the home was running smoothly. They were a perfect team!

With Jay’s sudden passing the sadness and grief is overwhelming for her and I want to help alleviate some of the pressures that naturally come when the sole provider has passed. There will be immediate expenses such as funeral/service costs but we also want to help her and make sure she has the provisions for day to day needs without that added worry as she navigates this new, scary role of widow and single mom.  Jay touched many peoples lives in a positive way, he was loved by many and I know that he would want the best for his family in their time of need.
