Jay Moon's Funeral Expenses

My name is Nick Moon and I'm writing this because we need your help. My father, Jay Moon, passed away suddenly on Sunday April 3rd, 2022, at the young age of 55. If all we had to deal with was my father's passing, it would be too much. But now, we must sort through all the complicated and painful details of settling his affairs. Further, dying is expensive. The funeral home has charged us over $5500, which does not include the casket (additional $1800) or flowers. We also have to put together the reception after the funeral.

 

 

 

 

My father passed without a will, leaving all of his assets, money and possessions in legal limbo. Thankfully, due to his 20 years of service to this country in the Navy, the VA and the Veterans cemetery are taking care of some very expensive things like opening and closing the grave, the headstone and other expenses. This saved us over $10,000. We would be truly lost without that help. But the funeral home's hefty cost is entirely left up to us to handle. Therefore, I'm asking for your help.
