Hello, my name is Bernadette Tugano and I’m doing a fundraiser for my husband Jay Jay Tugano. Jay Jay was hospitalized on 11/29 and is currently still in the hospital with a possibility of getting released next week to go home. Jay Jay was diagnosed with Cirrhosis and his kidneys are also failing. Jay Jay’s case was presented to OHSU for a liver transplant but unfortunately he does not qualify. The doctors in the hospital are also stopping his liver treatments because his liver is not responding to it anymore. Since western medicine is not working for Jay Jay, we decided to seek another form of treatment and that is through Homeopathic. Unfortunately, the Homeopathic treatment is not covered by our insurance, so everything from consultation, visits, medications, and other treatments are all out of pocket. This is where we are asking for your help. We have found a Homeopathic doctor who’s willing to help Jay Jay in any way they can. We are hoping that with this treatment he will get strong enough to be able to qualify for the outpatient program at OHSU and be put on the transplant list. We of course will not know if this will work but we are willing to try anything to have more time with him. Jay Jay is 42yrs old and we have 6 children ranging from 20, 19, 17, 15, 12, 6 years old. We’ve been together and married for 21yrs. My husband is a hard worker, good provider, loves his kids and family unconditionally. He is kind to all and loved by many. We are still hopeful and praying hard to our Lord God that this Homeopathic treatment works for him. My kids and I are having a hard time thinking of losing him but we will continue to fight.
