Jay has a long journey ahead

Hi, as most of you know, I'm Teresa/Teri/MommaT, mom of Jay, my first born. 8 years ago Jay started having seizures and a MRI showed that he had a tumor. Surgery was performed at the University of Iowa hospital at that time but they were not able to remove it all. We were told there was no cancer. Fast forward 8 years. Jay is now a dad to 3 amazing girls and engaged to the love of his life. He's focused on their future, working full time and going to college full time, planning for a career. He started to notice he was forgetting things and decided to have things checked. Upon getting a current MRI the doctors discovered the tumor had grown back, surgery was scheduled. After surgery we were told they were unable to remove it all and would send what they had for testing. Test results came back that Jay has stage 3 brain cancer and had stage 2 back when he had his first surgery 8 years ago but they failed to tell us.

Jay has a long battle and road ahead of him. We are asking for donations that will go towards his treatments, travel back and fourth to his appointments, medicine and any other unexpected expenses that may come up. Jay has a very long road ahead. The tumors will come back and the Dr's will continue to remove what they can until they no longer are able to.

Known that we serve a Mighty God I have all the faith in the world that Jay will beat this obstacle in his way and kick cancers a**.
