It is hard to count the number of lives you have touched when you teach in the same District for 55 years! SO many generations of students, their children, and even grandchildren know "Mr. DuVal". If he had his way, he would probably still be teaching woodshop or science class.

We want to memorialize his love for nature and the out-of-doors with a Memorial bench at Huntington Central Park, hopefully near his tree planted honoring his 50 years teaching in 2013.

We will be holding a Memorial on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at 2:30 pm on the Edwards side. Though it goes against his humble nature, we just cannot help honoring him. (Sorry Mr. DuVal, but you deserve SO much more for your life dedicated to children and family).

Thank you for helping us remember a man so dedicated to teaching and raising up chidren in the way they should go...even when it may include a stern look, or the crack of a mallet on the table. =) We all know he really loved and cared about us.
