Jay Dorrington's Legacy Memorial

Hi, my name is Donovan, I am one many of members of Jay Dorrington’s Central Tech Friends group. We were compelled to start this GoFundMe because our childhood friend, basketball, and football teammate was unexpectedly struck down in the prime of his life - as a result of the horrible pandemic. We realize daily life is tough and his responsibilities were large, therefore we are reach out to our community, friends, and family to help his family through this heart-breaking situation.

Jay Dorrington is remembered as a loving and caring son, father of four, friend, co-worker with charismatic energy that could light up a room. Jay was gifted with witty sarcastic jokes that poke fun at daily situation to bring smiles to many faces.

Jay was a provider for his family that worked hard to make ends meet, therefore this tragic turn of events left many devastate and confused from his passing in May 2021. COVID has taken a beloved member of our community in the highlight of his life from all of us. We mourn him daily and the world has lost another kind soul, and devoted man.
