Cycle 300 Miles for American Cancer Society
Tax deductible
I’m riding 300 miles this May for the American Cancer Society, in support of my dad, Jay Buchbinder. He’s been battling cancer since 2016 and somehow never lets it stop him from being the absolute force of nature he is. He’d get chemo in Somers Point, hop in the Jitney to Atlantic City, work through the night, and still somehow have the energy to break everyone’s balls. He’s a relentless force and a professional ball buster. My brothers and I are always giving him a hard time, messing around and busting his chops but it’s just how we show love. All jokes aside, the truth is, we owe so much to him. Without his influence, guidance, and example, none of us would be the men we are today. He's been a steady presence, someone we've always looked up to, and whether he realizes it or not (I’m sure he does), he's shaped our lives in ways that words can hardly express.
I’m doing this to support the incredible work the American Cancer Society does every day such as funding research that advances early detection, offering free lodging for families near treatment centers, providing transportation to appointments, financial assistance for care, global advocacy, and a 24/7 helpline for patients and families who need someone to talk to at any hour.
Every mile I ride is for him and every dollar that gets donated helps someone else's dad, mom, friend, or sibling keep fighting too.
