In Memory of Jay Berk: Aid for Memorial Expenses

In Loving Memory of Jay Berk -

We are heartbroken to share that Jay Berk passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 27th, 2025. During this incredibly difficult time, we are asking for support to help cover the funeral and memorial expenses.

Jay was a loving husband, dog-Dad, brother, son, and many knew Jay as a dear friend, one who had a very big and infectious personality. There are endless memories of Jay making us laugh as he had an unparalleled ability to connect with people in a unique way. No matter where he went, he knew someone, because he made every interaction feel personal and meaningful. He had such a big heart, was generous and supportive of everyone he knew and losing Jay leaves a deep void in our hearts. His legacy will live on in the countless memories he created with friends, family, and all those who were fortunate enough to cross his path. Though he may no longer be with us, his spirit, his laughter, and his love for the simple joys of life will continue to inspire us every day.

Unfortunately Jay also left this world with a big sum of credit card debt from years of medical expenses, current unpaid medical bills, a drained 401K, and had no life insurance. His loving wife Rita had to pay all his cremation services with personal funds and is financially strapped paying for these debts.

We are reaching out to family, friends, and the community for help to give Jay the respectful and meaningful farewell he deserves. Any contribution, no matter how small, would mean the world to us and would go directly toward covering funeral costs, Jay’s financial debts, memorial and related expenses.
