Jay Ball was a well known patient of many of ours. With the permission of his mother, Melinda, I am starting this fundraiser to raise money for his beloved babies, Brynlee and Natalia.

Despite the circumstances under which I got to know Jay, he was always a bright personality to be around. Though he was struggling, even his darkest days were lit up by frequent visits and phone calls with Brynn and Tali. Their little voices coming down the hallway always made my day as well.

There is not a soul on this earth who could claim Jay was not endlessly devoted to his daughters. On occasion, he would excuse himself from conversation with staff to take calls from the girls’ school. He always knew what they were up to and he always had a funny story to tell about the sweet and silly things they did. He talked about his daughters at every opportunity.

Witnessing the love shared between a father and his daughters and seeing the absolute heartbreak that his passing has caused for Brynlee and Natalia is something that will stay with me forever.
