Jay Corwell had an unusual spot growing on his face and reached out to his dermatologist in December of 2024

He had the spot biopsied on January 8th, 2025, and the following Monday received the news that the spot was a malignant melanoma.

Jay underwent surgery on January 30th to remove his tumor and test the closest lymph node. The surgery went very well, and no cancer was detected in the removed lymph node.

Jay was put on a protocol to undergo full-body PET scans every 4 months to check for recurrence. The first of these scans was in May and came back clear.

However, in early June, Jay noticed a new growth near the scar. The growth was again confirmed to be melanoma and now deemed as "aggressive."

Immunotherapy was started immediately, and surgery was scheduled for early August so that he could undergo two rounds of immunotherapy before the procedure.

On August 4th, Jay underwent his second surgery which, again, went very well. After surgery, the plan is to continue immunotherapy treatments once every 3 weeks for at least one year in addition to the required follow-up appointments and scans.

For the past four years, Anna has been bravely battling a series of ongoing health challenges that have taken a tremendous toll physically, emotionally, and financially. What started as manageable symptoms has now escalated into a serious autoimmune disease that is aggressively attacking multiple systems in her body.

These devastating diagnoses have changed every aspect of Jay and Anna’s life. Everyday tasks have become difficult or even impossible, including the work they do and the gym they love. Despite countless doctor visits, medications, and treatments, Anna and Jay continue to fight daily just to maintain a basic quality of life.

Now more than ever, Anna and Jay need our help.

Medical expenses (specialist appointments, treatments, tests, and medications not fully covered by insurance)

Supportive therapies (physical therapy, mental health support, nutrition)

Mobility aids or home modifications as needed
