Hello, I hate doing this but must ...
My name is Jay (known in certain communities as 'The Great Fowler').
Due to red tape with SSI (my only form of income), I am forced to do a GFM.
Friends of mine have done it to various levels of success, so ...
HERE I GO
On January 16th, 2020, I was supposed to die. I am here three years later and have received various forms of press regarding my struggle and how I give back and pay forward to others.
NEWSBREAK did a very lengthy article on my journey in September that was well-received:
&
A recent podcast with the likes of wrestling legends Cody Rhodes & Kenny Omega discussing my journey:

My full story/journey is documented on www.TheGreatFowler.com - Please feel free to scroll down and see 3 years of info/updates.

Any monies from donations will ONLY go to my rent, necessities, transportation to/from specialists and quality of life.
I am too ill to party and/or take vacations.

My condition, in brief, is (taken from an article on my journey):
Jay, or “The Great Fowler” as he would become known to a broad circle of pro wrestling lovers on Twitter, was diagnosed with Atrial Fibrillation (A-Fib) and massive heart failure on January 14th, 2020. After spending 19 days in both the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and the cardiology attachment of the hospital, due to the severity of his condition, his cardiologist determined he must have been suffering for no less than five years. With an ejection fraction (the amount of blood pumped out of a heart’s lower chambers each time it contracts) of only 10%, determined after they had drained 45 pounds of toxic fluid from his body, Jay was not expected to live much longer.

Over the ensuing 36 months, Jay has fought through homelessness, eviction, infuriating government oversight or red tape, and almost countless emergency room, general hospital, and ICU visits to still be here, against all odds, able to tell an almost unreasonably inspirational story.

Thank you in advance for caring enough to care.
Jay
