My name is Justin Milroy and I'm a Sergeant with the Scotts Valley Police Department. Our Peace Officers Association is currently raising money to help 3 year old Jaxson Smith and his family. Jaxson is the sweetest little 3 year old boy you have ever met. Unfortunately he is currently receiving chemo and radiation treatment for a large tumor that was found in his neck. As you can imagine, this is every parents worst nightmare.
To make matters worse, Jaxson's father, a veteran of the Marines, suffered a serious spinal injury during his service overseas, and after toughing out the pain for many years recently had surgery and is still recovering. So after an extremely painful month of recovering from disc degeneration surgery the family received the news about Jaxson. Jaxson was immediately transported to Stanford to begin his treatment and has been there since. The Smith family, who also have another small child, must continuously go back and forth from Stanford and are still having to make sure their other child is in school and cared for. We are hoping you will help support Jaxson and the Smith family by making a donation to help with their expenses not already covered by health care. Anything helps. Please make your donation as soon as possible. There will be a fundraiser at Jaxson's father's work on March 31st and we would like to present them with the donations at that time. Thank you in advance for your support. It's individuals like yourself that give people hope in their time of need.
Donations can also be made in person at the Scotts Valley Police Department.
One Civic Center Dr.

All funds collected will be given to the Smith family for expenses not already covered by health care. Any funds collected that exceed their needs will be donated to the Lucille Packard Childrens Hospital.
