Hi. My name is Chip and this is my dog Jaxsin. He is a 9.5 year old pitbull who recently has been diagnosed with lymphoma. He has been doing chemo for 2 years and has been beating the cancer ! He somehow managed to hurt himself a few weeks ago and now cant walk due to hernitaed discs in his neck (C2-C3-C4). We have had him on crate rest and heavy meds for 2 weeks but he is only getting worse. His team at VCA animal hospital has strongly reccomended surgery. His oncologist says his system is strong enough to handle the surgery and he reccomends it at this point. The surgery costs upwards of $8000.00 and the surgery needs to be done sooner than later to avoid paralysis. I am trying to get him scheduled and in surgery by Wed Oct 16,2016 . Jaxsin is a buddy to everyone and a friend to all. He's known to greet you with a ball and a handshake and a pitbull smile. I am not the kind of person to ask people I dont know for help but it is very hard to raise this kind of money in an emergency situation. I have exhausted all of my resources and spent thousands in the past 3 weeks to get nowhere fast. I will happily sell anything I own to save my best friend from all this pain, but time is essential.
