Hello, my name is Donte Dos Santos. I never have thought about making a gofund page about my precious dog, Jason X Dos Santos, or Jax. Jax is recovering from a surgery.
He chased a baby deer with his father dog, Mio. Unfortunately, we found out that Mio passed away because he got hit by a car. We kept searching Jax for three days. Until we got contacted by a sweet person informing us that Jax was there hiding under the bush. We immediately drove to the place where Jax was found. We noticed that Jax was very severely injured (His front, left leg got dislocated; elbow was fractured; and his buttock had an open wound). Unexpectedly, Jax bit into my hand hard when I had to lift him up because he was very anxious and hurt. However, I was OK, but I calmly took care of Jax first.
I had to rush Jax to a Vet ER. They snitched his buttock and put a cast on his elbow. They referred us to go to five different vet centers to fix the elbow. Until we were at the last vet center, we had a conversation with doctors about what they do with his leg. The doctors gave us two options: fix the elbow or amputate the leg. It was very devastated to hear the options. After a few hours later, I decided that we allowed them to amputate the leg because I did not want Jax to continue suffering pain. We have run out of money to pay for everything that he needs done right now.

Lastly, I do not forget about Mio. We want to send him off with a proper farewell. Mio was still very much loved and missed, and we never got a chance to say proper goodbye from across the pond.
I cannot even explain to you how much I love Jax and Mio. If we receive help for Jax and Mio, we would be so grateful and our family.

We would appreciate any donation you can afford to go towards medical and vet expenses and a proper cremation for our beloved Mio.
Thank you all for your kindness and support.
Sincerely,
Jax’s and Mio’s Loving Family
