Our hearts have been turned upside down over the past few weeks as my nephew, Jaxon, was diagnosed with bone marrow failure (Aplastic Anemia). This rare and serious condition has changed everything for my sister’s family in a very short amount of time. Jaxon will be undergoing a bone marrow transplant in the next 4–6 weeks, once a matching donor is secured—a life-saving procedure that comes with a long and challenging road to recovery.

Following the transplant, Jaxon will be hospitalized at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA) for approximately one month, and then he and his parents will be required to remain onsite for an additional two months so doctors can closely monitor his progress and protect his fragile immune system. During this time, his mom and dad will be focused entirely on being by his side—advocating for him, caring for him, and helping him heal—which will result in a significant loss of income.

We are asking for support to help ease the financial burden so Jaxon’s parents can focus on what truly matters: his health, healing, and recovery. Funds raised will help supplement lost wages and cover ongoing living expenses during this prolonged hospital stay and recovery period.
