Jaxon's fight against Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy
Donation protected
My 7-year-old nephew Jaxon was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy earlier this year. Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy does not have a cure and is very aggressive compared to other types of MD. Jaxon is a little warrior that loves his family and especially his little sister CC. Jaxon will need a wheelchair in the future and already has leg braces that he uses day and night. Thankfully, they have medical insurance, but as you can imagine, insurance will not cover everything, and this is a lifelong disease. There will be many expenses in the future, and some have already started accumulating. Jaxon's parents, Corey and Britney Danet have been fighting to ensure their boy gets the best possible care, and the Richmond Children's hospital team has been excellent. Soon they will need to make their home handicapped accessible, which includes a wheelchair ramp and interior changes to make it possible for Jaxon to move around. I wish no parent had to go through this with their child, but I know they have a village behind them. Let's help the Danet family ensure Jaxon has the best possible standard of living as he battles Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy ! Any donations made will go directly to Britney and Corey to allocate to medical expenses or home repairs as needed. Please join me in helping this young and beautiful family out !
