Jaxon Josiah is 3 months . At 1 week and 4 days, he had open heart surgery. He has a deformation in the heart, where he has a hole, and the left side of the his heart did not grow . He has Shone complex, hypoplastic aortic arch ,patent ductus arteriosus,VSD. After the first surgery, they had his chest open because his heart was swollen . Then he had a staph infection in the graft that they put in his heart, so he had to be on hard antibiotics to kill the infection, which delayed him from coming home. Now they are going to do a biventricula repair in his heart and fix the aortic valve that did not grow . This will mean they have to have open heart surgery again and he will need to stay in the hospital longer. He is such a sweet and happy boy . Always so smiley. It's hard to know he will go under another big surgery in his short life . His mama and daddy work so hard but anything you can give as they will have to miss days at work to be present for sweet Jaxon! No amount is too small to help!
