On behalf of Iglesia Rios de Agua Viva we would like to announce that with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Jaxiel Matute, a devoted husband, loving father, who lost his brave battle with cancer this week. He leaves behind his beloved wife, and their two young children, ages 10 and 12 months, who are now facing an unimaginable loss.

Jaxiel was a kind, hardworking, and selfless man who always put his family first. He fought with strength and courage until the very end, and his absence leaves a deep void in the lives of all who knew him.

As his wife begins to navigate this new chapter as a single mother, she is faced with emotional and financial challenges — from funeral expenses and household bills to the cost of raising two children on her own. We are hoping to ease some of that burden so she can focus on healing and being there for her kids.
