Hello family and friends today I ask for your help in support of my 3 year old nephew Jaxen and my sister Rowe. On May 20th 2019 during a routine Drs visit and MRI, a brain tumor was discovered. He has been diagnosed with Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG) this is a cancer that aggressively attacks the nervous system. Because the tumor is located on the brain stem he won't be able to have it removed because  of the risk of paralysis during surgery. Therefore, treatment requires the tumor to be shrunk via radiation. He will also begin immune therapy right away.  Rowe is a single parent and has been a great provider for him since the beginning. However, right now she needs all the help she can get.  There are surgeries and treatments scheduled for him that require her to miss work. Although she's been given time off, bills are still being accumulated. The hospital that will be treating him for radiation and Immune therapy is in Gainesville. Which is more than an hrs drive from her residence in Jacksonville FL. She needs assistance with expenses for hotels, gas, food, and co-pays. I know this is a lot to hear or read about. Just imagine what her and Jaxen are going through. If you know anything about my family you'll know we come from a long line of resilient people. And this situation will only be another testimony to add to our books! Please help with whatever you can because every dollar counts.
