Jax to Barcelona

Hello, my name is Roland Rodriguez and I am reaching out to you on behalf of my son Jax Rodriguez. Jax Is 12 yrs old and  has been selected to play soccer in the 2019 International Carnaval Cup in Barcelona, Spain. He is a Central Defender for the Lonestar S.C. U13 Boys Elite Clubs National League Team.    Jax began playing soccer for i9 Sports at age 3 and played for Lake Country Youth Soccer before joining Lonestar S.C. Junior Academy at age 5. Jax has shown a passion for the sport of soccer and worked hard to make and play on the U12 Boys U.S. Soccer Developemental Academy Team last season.    Jax is a 7th Grader at Lago Vista Middle School and is an excellent student and mentor.  During this soccer season, he also competed on the school cross-country team and is currenty playing on the 7th grade basketball for his school.     Jax will be traveling with the U13 DA Boys to Barcelona Spain to play in the 2019 International Carnaval Cup. This tournament includes some of the best U13 players and teams in the world. F.C. Barcelona, and many of the La' Liga Youth Academies will participate as well as other teams from around the globe. As of now, this Lonestar team is the only American team invited to compete in the 3-day tournament to be played March 1st, 2nd and 3rd of 2019 in  Premia' de Dalt, Barcelona.  Jax will leave Austin on February 26th and return on March 4th 2019. All contributions made will help pay for airfare, hotel stay, meals, and transportation to and from the tournament and any added expense during his trip.    We are very proud of him and his dedication to the sport and believe in his abilities to play at a high level. This is an incredible opportunity for him, and also to represent Austin soccer, his club, and the United States. We thank you for your support!
