Jax Wood Fired Pizza is a family owned and operated business. When devastation hit our North Shore community from the Kona Low Floods we knew we wanted to get involved.
We hosted a fundraiser over Easter weekend at our two restaurant locations on the North Shore of Oahu. The fundraiser was titled the Jax Kona Low Fundraiser: Stronger Than The Storm.
Over Easter weekend, April 3rd, 4th, & 5th, we donated 100% profits from all our sales at our two Jax Wood Fired Pizza restaurants.
We have a lot of people who don't live in Hawai'i but still wanted to support. So, we started this GoFundMe in order to raise additional funds for the fundraiser.
We chose 4 fundraiser recipients which are 4 families we know and have connected with personally. Their names are:

We, Jax Wood Fired Pizza, obtained all the money from this fundraiser through our sales through our POS, cash donations, & funds from this GoFundMe and equally distributed it to each of the 4 families.
In total, we raised $40,123. Each family will receive a cashiers check of $10,030. This money will go to funding their individual losses which include homes, cars, equipment, & belongings.

Families we have connected with through being regulars at our restaurants + personal connections. These families suffered losses during the Kona Low floods.
