Jax’s & Jaicey’s Story —Turning Pain Into Purpose ❤️

Six year old Jax lost his beautiful older sister, Jaicey, when she was just 8 years old after a six-year battle with an unimaginably rare “one-of-one” disease —condition so unique doctors had never seen it before. From the time she was only 2 years old, Jaicey’s life became a revolving door of hospital visits, tests, studies, painful procedures, &regular surgeries. She endured so much poor baby suffered from never-ending aneurysms, strokes, & surgeries that just kept coming, one after another. Her family lived every day with the fear that even a small fall or accident could trigger an aneurysm that might burst …always in fear of one that might end her life in an instant.

Through all of this, little Jax grew up watching his sister fight for her life. While other families were celebrating milestones, his family’s days were filled with concern, worry, tears, fear, & the relentless hope that doctors might find a way to keep her life going. They knew it was terminal, but they still fought with hope …every single day for every moment they could get …and they ended up getting six years of her life by battling with everything they had …they completely gave up any life of normalcy, to help their baby girl Jaicey. Jaicey’s two twin older brothers, her amazing parents, & her little brother Jax carried the weight of her battle with her. The heartache of watching their little girl suffer was unbearable …yet Jaicey never stopped smiling. She was so brave. Amd sassy! Even with heartbeats pulsing visibly through aneurysms in her tiny 2 year old arm… she remained a beautiful bright light ✨ …a warrior …a source of strength for everyone around her. ✨ She’s such an inspiration.

When God finally brought Jaicey home…
Jax ….who had spent his entire young life watching his sister endure pain no child should ever face —made a decision. To somehow help. To turn his pain into action of some kind …Into purpose ❤️

He started selling lemonade to raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation …the very same organization that gave Jaicey the happiest moment of her life. A moment where time stopped in real hope filled her soul! When her condition worsened and became very critical, they decided to do a rush wish for her.
During her darkest days, when her condition was deteriorating, Make-A-Wish stepped in & granted her a rush wish that brought so much magic and joy to her in that moment when she needed it the most. Her wish was unicorns and she got unicorns … and a whole lot more! That gift lit up her world when she needed it most. And Jax never forgot it. The impact of that wish had has never left his memory.

The power of a little boy who had already seen more hospital rooms than playgrounds …who grew up watching his sister suffer surgery after surgery …who had to see his family cry through the nights, & who ultimately lost his sister in a surgery where an aneurysm burst finally took her home …is heartbreaking in itself. But instead of crumbling, Jax decided he wanted to give other kids like his sister a chance to smile, too. That has became his mission.

At just 5 years old, Jax raised several thousand dollars at his very first lemonade stand & gave every penny to Make-A-Wish. Then he did it again this year —raising thousands more —& gave it all away two kids who need it. His pain became his purpose. His grief became generosity. His mission became clear: to give HOPE to other children the way his sister once received it when she needed it most.

When Erik Rock —founder of The Mission Project —heard about Jax’s mission, he knew he had to help. Erik matched Jax’s donation that day …but he also knew this story needed to be told to the world. He could not get it out of his head! He knew he had to do more! Because of Jax, millions of children could be impacted. This one spark could ripple outward to touch countless lives — Jaicey’s fight, her pain, her fear, her sadness …& her pain would NOT be wasted. Her life would somehow save millions! Jax’s courage, his impact & his mission will touch millions. Her pain now carries purpose through her little brother’s mission. So powerful of a story. Most people never figure out how to turn their greatest grief …their darkness pain ….into the purpose ✨ that gives the pain meaning. Because of Jaicey, she could literally impact millions because of the actions of a little boy.

Now, we want to help Jax bring his dream to life. His favorite singer is Coffey Anderson …and at our next event in Lake Tahoe, we are going to surprise Jax by putting him on stage to sing “Mr. Red, White & Blue” with his idol. But beyond that, we want to help Jax with his mission …to raise as much as possible for Make-A-Wish, so more children can experience the joy his sister once did. So we have set up a GoFundMe that is going straight to Jax so he can do whatever he wants! Erik’s dream is that you guys would really help support this dream & push this little boys mission as much as you can to the whole world!

Jax said it best: “I want kids like my sissy …that don’t feel good & are sick …to have a wish to make them smile & be happy when they’re not feeling good.”

This little boy is a HERO. He is a symbol for something that is very powerful in this world! His mission is light ✨ in the darkness. His story is proof that pain can be transformed into purpose.

Now we’re inviting you to help us elevate Jax & his mission to the world. Every dollar raised goes directly to Jax’s —fueling his dream to bring joy & impact to children fighting battles they should never have to face.

Let’s blow the roof off this story. Let’s show Jax & his family that the world sees them, supports them, & carries their mission forward. ❤️

Please show your support through this GoFundMe. Thank you for helping us honor Jaicey’s legacy & fueling Jax’s mission.

And PS if you would like some lemonade…
….we’ve got some of the best lemonade in America.
