My name is Charlene Grimes and I've never done this before, but I am looking for help to cover some costs of veterinary bills for my boy, Jax Goat Grimes. He is truly like my child. He's had a rough time lately, and things took a drastic left turn last night. He's been suffering from epileptic seizures, and between May and June, they got really bad. So now he's on multiple daily medications to keep the seizures at bay.

Last night, I noticed he was extremely bloated, so Google made me think it was something called bloat, which can be deadly. I immediately took him to the Vet ER. They took him back immediately and took X-rays, then came in with pain meds. A little while later, they came in with the worst news... they said he has a large mass (tumor) in his stomach cavity. My world shattered. They then did an ultrasound and bloodwork. The bloodwork came back normal, but the ultrasound was inconclusive since there were so many shadows from gas in his belly. They are referring him to an oncologist in Chattanooga. Hopefully, I hear from them Monday to schedule an appointment.

I am asking for help because over the past few months, I have put thousands of dollars towards vet bills for him, and I am anticipating the trip to Chattanooga and further treatment to be costly. I cannot do it on my own anymore. He is only 5 years old, and I've done everything I can to keep him healthy, so I am struggling to comprehend why this is happening to such an amazing animal and family member. Please, if you could help support the cost to get him all the help he needs. He loves everyone and every animal. He's the happiest, extremely ticklish, and most friendly dog you will ever meet and has helped me through some really tough times in my life. I am not ready to give up on such an amazing soul.
